Already Taken Care of !!

Sorry I have been missing.  Well not missing just living and at times it feels like  I am a bystander in my own life.  My son started college in August and life has been a little overwhelming.  It is easy to say that we understand that God has a plan that nothing happens by chance but it is another thing to put faith into action.

I read Exodus 16:4 again and it reads Then the Lord said to Moses behold, I am about to rain bread
from heaven for you and the people of Israel , gather a days worth only every day.

As moms our Brains never seem to stop,  we are always on.  It's in our nature to take care of everyone and everything, to worry even if we know better.  As the Israelite's we can be drawn to the what if;s instead of the here and now.  Due to worry we might be tempted to take more than we need out of fear of not having enough.   We pull time and energy from projects, from reading the word from devotions and from ourselves.  To worry about things that God has promised to take care of if only we have faith if only we trust.  Everyday  God teaches us that we can rely on him for our provision,  for our every need.  He has shown us that he will abundantly provide for us and our families.   What a caring and loving father we serve.  All though the bible we find peace and understanding as we see Yahweh's character as being the bread of life substance that for fills all our needs.  God teaches us daily that him and him alone can satisfy all that we seek.   So the next time when your worried about provision lets remember its already taken care of .


Prayer:

Thank you father for being the ultimate provider.  Go with us today father and help us have faith that in you all our needs have been have already been met.  We give you all the honor and praise in your holy and righteous  name.  Amen

My struggling Reader!

So I've taken full ownership of my struggle (as I am sure many of you have), I wear it like a badge of shame a ugly cape for a very unsuccessful super hero.  I believe it is my fault that my daughter is not reading yet that at 8 she is not a strong reader.  I truly believe that there must have been something I could have done to help her get it better,  I go back and forth with the fact that maybe if she was in school with a real teacher helping her she would be a strong reader by now,,, I read somewhere the other day that "Struggle" shows that something is going on....Me being me I went and looked up the word struggle with new eyes.. Struggle is a verb It implies action It implies effort It implies giving all you've got.
